Accessibility
Built to be used by everyone.
Clean energy should reach every home, business and community — and so should our website. We are committed to making solfapower.com usable and welcoming for people of all abilities.
Our commitment
At Solfa Power, our purpose is to make reliable, sustainable energy accessible — and accessibility is a value we carry through to how we build our digital experiences. We want everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies, to be able to learn about our solutions, size their energy needs and reach our team without barriers.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, an internationally recognised standard for making web content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task: as we add new pages and features, we work to keep them aligned with these guidelines.
What we've done
The following features are built into our website to support a wide range of visitors:
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements — menus, links, buttons and the mobile navigation — can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator so you always know where you are on the page.
- Readable colour contrast. Our white-and-green palette is chosen for strong contrast between text and background, so copy remains legible for people with low vision or colour-vision differences.
- Descriptive image text. Meaningful images include descriptive
alttext so people using screen readers understand what each photo shows, while purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology to reduce noise. - Reduced-motion support. Our scroll animations respect your system's
prefers-reduced-motionsetting. If you've asked your device to minimise motion, content appears without the sliding and fading effects. - Clear structure and semantics. Pages use proper HTML landmarks and heading order, descriptive link text and responsive layouts that adapt cleanly from large desktop screens down to mobile phones.
- Resilience without JavaScript. Core content stays visible and readable even if scripts fail to load, so no one is locked out by a broken enhancement.
Known limitations
We recognise that some areas may not yet fully meet our target standard. In particular, our online energy calculator is hosted on a third-party platform, and certain embedded or externally provided content may not be under our direct control. Where we cannot immediately fix a limitation, we will do our best to provide the same information or service through an alternative channel — including by phone or email.
Reporting an accessibility issue
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter a barrier on this website, have difficulty accessing any information, or would like content in an alternative format, please tell us — it helps us improve for everyone.

When you get in touch, it helps to include the web address of the page, a short description of the problem and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly and to keep you informed as we work towards a resolution.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is a continuous commitment. We review our site as it grows, test with keyboard and screen-reader use in mind, and treat feedback from our community as an essential part of getting it right. Thank you for helping us build a website — and a clean-energy future — that works for everyone.
